In varietate concordia!
United in diversity - the motto of the European Union - for us, these are not empty words.
Our school in its mission calls for the promotion of freedom and tolerance - let’s embrace these values through sharing our beliefs, and staying open to a debate about our unique perspectives. Our school highlights, how there is no freedom without responsibility, so let us stay in unity, through our diversity, and care for our neighbours, friends, and those with opposing viewpoints. And finally, our school calls for modern patriotism, through acts that will benefit our community, and through acts, which will benefit us - as a society.
Since the last edition of JASMUN, in Poland alone, we have held three elections, at all levels of democracy, on a local, state, and international level. While crossing x’s on our ballots, some of us for the first time, did not stop believing in the need for an open dialogue that wouldn’t negate our differences but would embrace them.

Democracy, security, and civil rights - these are some of the values we as a society have to decide upon and some of the values, which we have to protect - we, as young and future prospective leaders, believe there is no better way to do so, but in open dialogue, in which we embrace our differences and unite among them. With such an approach we, the JASMUN Secretariat, hope to promote a debate of new quality.
Marking 20 years of Poland in the European Union, during this year, during which citizens of at least 64 different countries will cast their vote in legislative or executive elections it is time, to welcome a new form of dialogue, not only in Poland - but also multilaterally. With this conference, let this everlasting change start here, in Warsaw. Let it start with the young, with the bright, and with the strong. Let us change the world by widening our eyes, and staying open to our differences.
2024 Secretary General,
Jakub Rozdeiczer
